£600 NUMBER PLATE FOR BABY BOY!

AN eight-month-old baby boy has his own personalised car number plate after his dad forked out hundreds of pounds to snap it up.

But young Buddie Franco Piacentini will have to wait until he’s 18 to get his hands on the unique car registration number – F14NCO.

For his dad Marco, who owns Bruno’s fish and chip shop and paid £599 for the plate, will keep it out of reach until his son reaches that special birthday.

And not to be outshone by his wee boy Marco also shelled out £2,000 on a registration plate for himself... F1SSH to stick on his flash BMW X5.

Marco, from Foxbar in Paisley, said: “I don’t have it on the car yet, but I will be putting it on my X5.

“The DVLA released new registrations on October 7 and I was looking for one that spelled fish.

“I tried to get through to them for days, from 8am until 2.30pm, and eventually got what I was looking for.

“I had a wee list of ones I wanted, including F4FST – FAST – for my Suzuki Hayabusa motorbike, but that was gone.

“I also bought F14NCO because my eight-month-old son is called Franco and he was born on February 14.

“That one cost £599 and I’ll keep it until he is 18.”

Marco, who owns Bruno’s chippy in High Street, Johnstone added: “I am delighted to have the two plates.

“My partner Lee-Ann just thinks it’s all about boys and their toys! But she’s happy with Franco’s.”
