Police officers in the northern area will be reinforcing the vehicle crime prevention message to shoppers in the New Year.

The officers will be handing out tamper proof number plate screws to shoppers outside various supermarkets in the Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough areas during January.

As part of Operation Tiger, officers will be giving out the screws at ten locations between 10am and 3.30pm.

The first event will take place at Asda in Phoenix Parkway, Corby, on Thursday 8 January and the second will be held at Morrisons in Oakley Road in Corby on Friday 9 January.
