Private Number Plates - Value Information

Customers that have previous knowledge within the industry know only too well that private number plates (normally with out the year identifier) have historically been fantastic investments. Private number plates have thought to be along the same lines or sometimes even better investments than works of art, antiques and property (of course, private number plates need no up keep or maintenance). More common initials will always be better sellers, any private number plate with "S" at the end for "Smith" or "Singh" for example "JS 1" will sell easier  than "VU 1" although most sales would normally depend on the price (unless of course money was no object).  If private plates "JS 1" was available and on sale today it would most probably sell for around £200,000. In the same situation "VU 1" would only fetch around 15,000 pounds. All UK number plates must have at least one letter and one number, for example A 1 (the first & oldest number plate issued in 1903). A few years ago in Hong Kong the number " 8 " was sold by auction for millions of dollars. The number 8 is the best number as it brings wealth and happiness where the number 4 would be the total opposite.

Different Ideas For Your Private Number Plates

Some private number plates are very low in cost and can be great gifts. In our build your own section, you can actually "build your own" private number plates. Prices start from only 199 pounds, over the years they have proved to be great gifts and more often than not a nice little investment. You can choose a prefix letter (EG number plate = A5 JON) the prefix letter is the "A". Then choose from one up to three numbers, the number 5. (see what numbers are available on the build page). Last and probably the most important part of the private number plate is the three letters (the JON part on the example). Here you may be lucky enough to get your name or part of your name, most of our customers will choose initials, children's or spouse's initials. You may want something to match your sport or job like LBW (cricket) POT - CUE (snooker) DVR (diver) DOS - PHP (computers) DOG - PET - WUF - CAT (pets) BMW - CAT - JAG - VWG - BUG - HOG (vehicles).  With the new/current style private number plates (EG number plate = AB55 CDB) you could choose the prefix letters (AB on our example) as your initials Mr.Arron Burns, so AB the age of the vehicle is a "55" then maybe choose your wifes initials, CDB. You have Arron Burns "55" Caron D Burns. Or AB55 DOC , AB55 BMW, AB55 CUE. The list could go on for ever, but be assured, we will have a private number plate for you.
