Private Plates :: Show yours Off..! We have been asked many times by customers to create a section where you can show your own private plates off. Well here it is, if you would like to show your private plate off here, just click the link at the foot of this page and forward what ever info or pictures you have. All Private plates are welcome here, you don't have to have spent a fortune to buy the number plate, all we require is for you to just simply be a proud private plate owner.
The first Private Plate ever issued was the famous A 1 (pic above), this was issued in 1903 by a local office to the late Earl Russell. The Earl had to queue all night to secure it, but it was free! Now A1 is thought to be worth well over £1M, IF the plates ever became available for sale..... |
