Here are some of the latest additions that have gone "LIVE" on our website in the last 7 days. We provide hundreds of valuations each week. In fact in the last year we have provided more than 26,000 valuations! Many of the registrations that go on the market may not have been advertised for a generation.
Here we explain a bit about each registration type and who might find the particular personalised numbers appealing,
BRY 4N: Style N Suffix (for vehicles registered on or after August 1974. The ultimate cherished number plate for a person named 'Bryan' or an alternative spelling (Brian). May also appeal to anyone by the name of Ryan B, although the price tag would probably say otherwise. However there can be no argument that there is no better way to make the name Bryan on a UK car reg plate (B12 YAN would be the less valuable prefix alternative). Originally released by the DVLA and sold at auction back in 1999, but is now brand new on the market at £47,500.
V1 BON: Style: V Prefix (1999 onwards) Ideal for: As Individual Named Bon or Bonnie making it a personal statement and adding a unique touch to their vehicle. Also the BON element could be a playful reference to the iconic James Bond character. Bond and 007 related number plates are commonly seen on vehicles featured in the films, which is often various models of Aston Martin.
2444 MY: Style: 4x2 Dateless. The number 2444 could symbolise a special year or significant date for someone, 2nd April 1944 would be the birth date of an octogenarian last year. Ideal for someone with the initials MY or someone after dateless number containing neat repeating numbers. This example is also of historic origin and was first issued in 1961. The original office for this letter combination is Middlesex C.C.
MJK 20: Style 3x2 Dateless. Individual with Initials MJK: This personalised plate would resonate with someone whose initials are MJK, adding a unique touch to their vehicle. Potentially purchased for a child born in 2020 for use in the future : This registration was first issued in 1964. The original office for this letter combination is Eastbourne C.B.C. This example available for a very reasonable price, just under £7000.
36 RMD: Style 2x3 Dateless. Ideal for a person with initials RMD: This plate could appeal to someone whose initials are RMD, providing a classic personalised touch. This registration is also a historic first issued in 1958 and the original office for this letter combination is Middlesex C.C like the MY registration above.
NO07 FUN: Style: Current 07 series (Issue March 2007). Ideal for: James Bond Fan: The reference to "007" could attract fans of the James Bond franchise, appealing to those who appreciate the playful twist with "NO" preceding it. (the famous Dr.No film from 1962 starring the late Sean Connery). Would also suit an individual with a fun personality or good sense of humour wanting to showcase their personality through their car reg!
HU63 GYM: Style: Current style, 63 series (Sept 2013 onwards). Ideal for: A Fitness Enthusiast and would likely appeal to someone who is passionate about fitness, gyms, or a healthy lifestyle, using it to show their dedication to working out. Personal Trainer or Gym Owner: A personal trainer or gym owner might find this plate attractive to represent their profession and a great tool to promote their business. Available today for just £1499!
SP04 KEN: Style: Current , 04 series (March 2004) . Firstly this registration resembles the word "SPOKEN" Whislt also suiting a person named Ken (an abbreviation for the name Kenneth) a name popular in the UK with those born between 1920 and 1950.
TAN 114S: Style: S Suffix , Individual Named Tan: This plate would attract someone named Tan, Tania or a variant of that name, making it a personal statement.
DM11 LLS: Style: Current style 11 series (March 2011) This plate would likely be attractive to individuals whose surname was MILLS , specifically a Mr or Mrs D.MILLS , making it a personalised choice. Thinking further afield would be a Tech Professional: "DM" might represent "Digital Marketing" or "Data Management," appealing to professionals in those fields.
S15 JRS: Style: S Prefix. Ideal for an Individual with Initials JRS: This plate could be appealing to someone named or identified by the initials JRS whilst the S prefix correlates with the surname initial, creating a personal connection.
