LATEST ADDITIONS (Update 74)

See the latest personalised registrations that have gone live on our website over the past 7 days.

Each week, we carry out hundreds of number plate valuations. In the past year alone, we've provided more than 26,000 valuations.

Some of the registrations that become available will never have been offered for sale before, while others may not have appeared on the market for decades.

New registrations this week

We've highlighted some of the potential interpretations behind this week's new additions — from names and initials to memorable number combinations and familiar associations. Standard number-to-letter substitutions, such as 3 = E and 5 = S, can also create alternative readings.

Registration values vary according to factors such as rarity, format, demand and the individual appeal of each combination.

XJ 5

Style: Historic Registration. With just two letters and a single number, XJ 5 has a particularly short, distinctive format. The XJ combination is likely to appeal to Jaguar enthusiasts, bringing to mind the iconic Jaguar XJ and XJS models. It could also attract someone with the initials J.S., with the 5 providing a visual alternative to the letter S. First issued in 1932–1933, the registration is recorded as originating from Manchester C.B.C., giving it genuine historic provenance.

Currently available for £62,500+VAT — view all XJ registrations.

HE 3

Style: Historic Registration. With just two letters and a single number, HE 3 has the appeal of an exceptionally short registration. CarReg's Reg Issue Checker records the mark as dating from 1913–1945, with Barnsley C.B.C. listed as the original issuing authority. Its early history and compact format make it a notable example of a historic British registration.

Currently available for £84,000 — view all HE registrations.

ANG 7

Style: Historic Registration / Name Registration. The ANG combination could appeal to someone called Angela, Angie or Angus, offering a natural shortened-name connection. With just three letters and a single number, ANG 7 has a particularly compact and distinctive appearance. CarReg's Reg Issue Checker confirms that ANG 7 was first issued in 1935, with Norfolk C.C. recorded as the original issuing authority. This gives the registration over 90 years of history, adding genuine provenance to its name-related appeal.

Currently available for £68,900 — view all ANG registrations.

69 AJ

Style: 2x2 Dateless. The AJ initials could appeal to someone with those initials (such as British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua) with the 69 potentially adding a personal connection such as a birth year, anniversary or memorable date. The combination is short and straightforward, with a classic two-number, two-letter format that offers plenty of scope for individual interpretation.

Currently available for £31,950 — view all AJ registrations.

1 RUC

Style: Dateless No1. The single 1 gives this registration a particularly concise format, while the RUC letters could appeal to someone with those initials or a name incorporating the three-letter combination. 1 RUC was sold at DVLA Auction in 2018, providing documented auction history for this short registration.

Currently available for £22,374 — view all RUC registrations.

1 YVK

Style: Dateless No1. The single 1 gives this registration a particularly concise format, while the YVK letters could appeal to someone with those initials or a name incorporating the three-letter combination. 1 YVK was first sold at DVLA Auction in May 2014, providing a documented auction history for the registration.

Currently available for £10,895 — view all YVK registrations.

GEO 137

Style: Historic Registration / Name Registration (3x3). The GEO prefix could make this an appealing choice for someone called George, giving the registration a natural shortened-name connection. CarReg's Reg Issue Checker records that GEO 137 was first issued in 1960, with the original office for this letter combination recorded as Barrow-in-Furness C.B.C. The historic format and genuine 1960 provenance add another interesting dimension to this distinctive registration.

Currently available for £4,999 — view all GEO registrations.

OMW 911

Style: Three-letter dateless registration (3x3).The OMW letters are widely recognised as shorthand for “On My Way”, giving this registration a modern interpretation despite its historic origins. The 911 is particularly appealing to Porsche enthusiasts, with its unmistakable association with the iconic Porsche 911. CarReg's Reg Issue Checker records that OMW 911 was first issued in 1957, with Wiltshire C.C. listed as the original issuing authority. Combining nearly 70 years of British registration history with two recognisable modern associations, OMW 911 has plenty of character.

Currently available for £3,470 — view all OMW registrations.

REM 12

Style: Three-letter Dateless registration (3x2). The REM letters have an obvious connection to the American rock band R.E.M., famous for hits including Losing My Religion, Everybody Hurts and The One I Love. The combination could also appeal to someone with REM initials or a name incorporating those letters. Although its traditional dateless format might suggest a historic registration, REM was never part of the original registration issues in either letter-first or number-first format. Instead, it was first released through DVLA Auction in 2019, giving it a more recent origin than its letters first appearance might suggest.

Currently available for £13,080 — view all REM registrations.

F8 COF

Style: Suffix registration. Read aloud, F8 COF has a playful resemblance to the expression “F off”, giving the registration a cheeky character. The COF suffix could also provide a personal or business-related interpretation, while the combination remains relatively subtle when displayed on a vehicle.

Currently available for £1,999 — view all COF registrations.

G33 ELY

Style: Prefix registration. The G33 prefix can be read as “GEE”, giving the registration a sound that closely resembles GEELY, the car manufacturer. This makes G33 ELY a particularly relevant combination for Geely owners and enthusiasts, with the letters and numbers working together to suggest the brand name. It's a clever automotive interpretation without needing to spell the name conventionally.

Currently available for £5,450 — view all ELY registrations.

A3 GLO

Style: Prefix registration. The GLO suffix could appeal to someone with the surname Glover, GLO as a business or personal abbreviation, or a connection to the three-letter combination. The A3 prefix gives the registration a neat, compact appearance.
