Personalised Number Plates To Sell At Auction

The three plates going to auction are :-

    • FT 100
    • S4 UDY
    • ALL 600D

FT 100 plate resembles FTSE 100 (Financial Times/Footsie as its often written) now London Stock exchange and is expected to fetch between £60,000 and £80,000.

S4 UDY resembles Saudi, the most legal way you will see Saudi on a plate, and is expected to achieve between £50,000 to £70,000.

ALL 600D (ALL GOOD) the most fun of the trio, is estimated to sell between £30,000-£40,000.

The trio will be sold by Humbert & Ellis Ltd auctioneers.

Auctioneer Jonathan Humbert said:  "The trade in private or ‘cherished’ number plates is buoyant and we pleased to bring these best-of-breed plates to market”

Earlier this month the RR 1 registration, a perfect plate for a Rolls Royce owner, sold at auction for £460,000 and four years ago the ’25 0’ number plate sold for a record £518,000 at a Government-run auction. The exclusive F 1 plate, which was previously attached to a multi-million pound Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, went on sale for over £14,000,000.

For some drivers, it is the ultimate status symbol or an easy way to make you stand out from the rest of the crowd. Also they are great investments and continue to increase in value year by year.

So many number plate auctions in the UK at the moment, it could be the way forward to sell the higher value personalised number plates.  You can search Carreg.co.uk for quality personalised number plates. We will be please to assist with any questions you may have.
