Can I use black and silver plates on my classic car?
Yes you can display – but only if your vehicle is registered before 1st January 1980 (more than 45 years old) and registered in the “Historic Vehicle” tax class. All newer vehicles must display white plates on the front and yellow plates on the rear. Black and silver (sometimes are pressed metal) plates are reserved strictly for classic and vintage cars.
