Can I transfer a reg between Northern Ireland and Great Britain?
Yes. All transfers are now handled by DVLA Swansea, which covers all of the United Kingdom. Northern Ireland no longer maintains its own vehicle records. You can move a registration either way using the same online system or the usual forms (V317), with no extra steps or costs, just the standard £80 DVLA fee.
