What does the advertised price include?
Within the personalised and private number plate industry, some registrations can be sold without VAT, to avoid confusion, our advertised prices are all base prices (this is industry standard). The £80 DVLA transfer fee is also standard which is a (DVLA) service charge to transfer the registration to your vehicle. At CarReg, we offer the full service and are totally transparent with pricing, you can see if the registration that you are interested in buying has VAT by clicking the next stage/buy link on our website. You will also see that we offer other services, like a choice of actual perspex number plates, (standard or 4d, a choice of boarders, graphics). On the cheaper plates (value less than £1000), we also offer the fast transfer service (this is included with purchases over £1000).
