Can I change or add a nominee later?
Yes. If the Nominee on your DVLA certificate needs to change, you can update it at any time. The DVLA allows amendments to the V750 online or by post, and V778’s just by post. However, you do not have to be the named nominee in order to assign the registration to a vehicle. The online system allows a registration mark held on Certificate to assigned to any receiving vehicle regardless of the registered keepers name. Therefore the nominee name on the document is not important, like it once was.
